I'm a salesperson and I'd like to proceed with selecting various customer locations and then creating a driving route that will take me from location to location. It appears I can only plot a course from Point A to Point B? ie Start ande End

Can the program enable me to chart a course that takes me from Point A to B, C, D etc?

So I have 2 maps and I want to embed them on 2 different pages on our website (one is our members while the 2nd is a list of Veterinarians). But the code is the same and the visitor picks the map from the drop down. Is there any way to add to the code which map should be displayed? Scaling down the size of pins can be useful because for some people they look too big and out of place on the map. Scaling down the size will greatly improve the look of the map and could reproduce better prints. Specially when you have a lot of pins on the map. Give it a try and see the difference.

How to do it? When creating a new map select the size from the dropdown box, or if you already have a map click the "Edit Map" button (the one with the yellow pencil) from the map toolbar and select the pin size from the "Scale Down Pins to" dropdown box.

Several users have asked us how to print the map using different size of paper.

We have told them; have you tried using the “Save as PDF” functionality?

They say yes, but not that simple. The problem is that after selecting the page size the user has to figure out what’s the dimensions of each page format. Not an easy task for sure.

We have made the process of printing in different size a lot easier. All you need is to select the page size and orientation from the dropdown boxes and click the “Convert” buttons.

This will save the map on PDF format that you can use for printing or add it to another PDF document.

We have updated the system to support data files that have the address separated into several columns. e.g. address, city, state, postal code and country.

This is the most common format therefore the importance of this update.
We will continue to support the previous data file format where the address field is all contained into one column.

Another very important update was to the geocoding functionality. The system is now more accurate to locate addresses and convert them into coordinates. Specially for addresses that seem to have several matches. Now the system will better reflect the most relevant address found.

The "Quick Add" map points popup window allows you to quickly add addresses to your map.

Normally when you save a map point the popup window will close after each save, whereas on the "Quick Add" popup window every time you add a pin to the map the window will stay open and the map point list will refresh after each save.

Although you still save addresses one by one you can do it faster. For uploading a spreadsheet data file use the "Bulk Add"
functionality.

If you have a Google account and you're signed in to Google you will see a "user' icon" on many Web sites that use the Google map API which is the Pinmaps.net case.

Why would you like to have this functionality available?
It will allow you to save locations on Pinmaps that will also be available on Google maps
This location will be displayed on the map as a yellow star and will be shown on any Google enable maps that has the signed in functionality.

This setting is not enable by default, so you need to click on your "dashboard" link and click the settings page. Check the
box next to the " Signed-in to Google Account" label.

I have been a member of PinMaps since August 2013, using a personal PayPal account. However, I would like to update my subscription payment method using an AMEX Cashback Credit Card instead.

Per guidelines, I cancelled my recurring subscription and am trying to upgrade my account using a credit card this time. However it does not let me proceed and says "this card cannot be used". Why is that? It is an American Express which is in the list of accepted credit cards.

Map snapshots allow you save "static" view of specific portions of the map and they can have their own map type (road, satellite, hibrid, terrain) and zoom level independently from the default map view. This can be very useful if you have pins spread all over the world and you want to create snapshots of particular Countries or regions.

How can I easily remove them?
You can now remove snapshots right from the snapshots list.

I have created a map with 45 locations throughout the US and a small part of Canada. In viewing my map I can see all the points, however when I convert the map to pdf, it cuts off points on the far left coast and far right coast. Is there a way using pushpin maps to map out directions from one location to another and always have those pins stuck on the map?

I guess what I'm trying to say is I have clients in various areas around Charlotte. Sometimes I need to find out where one client is located in relation to another client to see if it's feasible for me to do both of those appointments in the same day. If one client is located further than the other, I don't want to go there. I do however want to be able to keep people located on the map and mark who the person is so if I get somebody else in that same location I'll be able to tell quickly at a glance whether or not I can see them in the same day.

I want the pins you always stay on the map so that when I enter a new person in that general vicinity, I will be a will to tell at a glance if they are close in proximity.

Does that make sense to anyone?

Pins seem to be not in the right place

Good Afternoon,

I am having a bit of trouble keeping the pins I place in the correct locations. My map is based in Tamale, Ghana & we need to point out the exact locations of schools we are working with. This inevitably leads to some pins being off the main roads but when refreshed, all pins automatically move to the nearest main road or intersection. Does anyone have any advice to stop this from happening? Thank you,

I have nine salesman with their own number of accounts. Each salesman have no more than 130 customers but the total number for all is 721. In the Premium plan am I limited to 1,000 pins per map or 1,000 pins for all maps combined?

Hello,

I have a problem. After I logged in today, my pins are saved, but the map did not load. I can only see white page intead of map, also the list of the pins did not appear. They are all saved, I can see them in settings, but not on the list.

I use Google Chrome. The map loads properly on my iPad, also when I use IE7, but it is very slow.

Bulk Add- can I import a list of addresses from an Excel file with multiple tabs?

I am trying to import a list of addresses from an Excel file, using the Bulk Add form. Many of the Excel files I have, contain multiple tabs, all with different address information. I have tried to use 2 important columns- "PointName and Address" in the first tab only. After choosing the file and clicking Import, "Your Data File is missing the 2 main column names" appears. Does the Bulk Add tool not allow you to import information from Excel files with multiple tabs? If not- is the only solution to create a new Excel file with one tab?

I haven't been on for a few weeks and noticed all the new icons- some of which are really awesome, but can get we get some icons for libraries, grocery stores/farmers markets and coffee shops? Setting not reflected when logged out

I've updated my settings to not "enable map controls" because I want to hid street view from those who are using my map. These settings are then in effect for my map when I am logged in, but when I log out, I again see all the controls for my maps. Is there a way to update these setting for all users?

Navigation Tool - Zoom in / Zoom out

Hi, There used to be a little navigation tool that allowed you to zoom in and out of the maps. It's gone. Can we please have it back as it is very hard (hit and miss) to zoom in and out using an apple mouse.
